Nearly a million people have seen Iggy Azalea’s “Pu$$y.” About 4,000 really liked it. But it left a sour taste in about 770 others’ mouths.
“No words,” YouTube user Serbsaint says. “I hope she dies from bleeding of the asshole.” And nonfan Slimjim90tj quips, “I bet those beef curtains flap in the wind.”
Of course, we haven’t heard anything about flapping beef curtains. But we do know that the Australian rapper wears magical underwear with “awesome powers.” And this Wednesday, Azalea will show them off at LIV, one of several stops that the newly signed Interscope Records artist has planned in anticipation of her forthcoming debut studio release, The New Classic.
Since squirting onto the scene with her viral “Pu$$y,” Azalea has made quite a splash. Earlier this year, she became the youngest rapper and only woman to appear on the cover of XXL‘s 2012 “Freshman Class” issue alongside up-and-coming hip-hop heavyweights such as MMG’s French Montana and Detroit rapper Danny Brown. Plus, Grand Hustle CEO T.I. is producing her first record, and she’s rumored to be dating A$AP Rocky.
