As ecstatically exclaimed by the fest’s official website: “ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL 15 tickets will go on sale Wednesday, October 17th!!!”
And obviously, Ultra CEO Russell Faibisch and his fellow EDM executives are also promising the most enormously epic UMF expericence ever.
“Now approaching its 15th anniversary, this year is positioned to be the most memorable Ultra yet with all kinds of new surprises, MASSIVE new production, and the best lineup in Ultra Music Festival history.”
But beyond surprises and lineups, here’s the real question: How beat-feaking long will it take for Ultra 2013 to sell out?
In 2011, tix were totally gone with 34 days left until the festival. And then last year, passes were all snatched up a full 74 days before Ultra’s gates swung open to its 150,000-strong mob.
If that trend repeats itself, we could all be looking at another record-breaking sell out (114 days early?) and a shopping window of 1008 hours or less.
So plop your uhntz-uhntz-ing ass at a laptop. And warm up that speedy Serato-trained button finger. It’s almost time to blow your Ultra load and max that plastic.
