Well, undoubtedly the line President Obama used most during his jobs speech last week was “Pass this jobs bill.” Though, he also managed to slip in the phrase “Lets get to work.” Which, besides being a somewhat common phrase in its own right, it also the favored slogan of Florida Governor Rick Scott.
Like many in the Republican party, Scott was open to some of the proposals in the bill. But he most liked that Obama used his phrase. “You know, one of the best things about the speech, he used my slogan ‘Let’s Get to Work’ in his speech,” Scott told Bay News 9. “So, I think he takes on all the popular governors and uses their slogans.”
Oh, Ricky, you’re so funny. Everyone knows you’re one of the most unpopular governors in the country.
