There’s only one person who is supposed to eat your cookies without explicit permission during the Christmas season and that’s Santa. Not Shuwana.
Shuwana Horne, a Homestead woman who worked at a UPS warehouse in Islamaroda, has been arrested for opening and eating an undelivered tin of cookies and pocketing an undelivered iPad for herself.
A manager at the UPS warehouse called police to report the missing packages on December 10. According to Huffington Post, another worker reported that they had seen Horne munching on the cookies before police could even get involved.
It was then discovered that Horne had gone into a computer and changed the package’s status to “receiver moved, not delivered/returned to shipper.”

Police went to Horne’s home and she admitted to stealing both the cookies and the iPad. While she ate the cookies herself, she sold the iPad to someone at the Collier County Casino for a mere $250.
