Nancy Brewer decided to take a page out of the Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes school of couples counseling, by dealing with her relationship problems with a City of Miami police officer by setting his Lauderhill home on fire.
Brewer, 25, showed up at the Luaderhill home of Sgt. Travis Lindsey at 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday morning. According to NBC Miami, she poured gasoline all around the home and then tied a cloth to the front door and set in on fire. She then set various door mats on fire and took off.
But apparently she felt some remorse for what she did, and drove herself directly to a Miami police department and turned herself in.
She gave a third party confession to an officer, and is being held in Broward County jail on a single charge of arson. Her bond has been set at $50,000.
