If you don’t know about the massive Dutch EDM event known as Sensation, there’s still hope for you.
Sensation will finally make its Miami debut this year! This is the second time that the event has come to America. Last year, Sensation made its U.S. debut in New York. But this time around the event is going on the road, stopping in New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and, of course, Miami.
For its Magic City stop, Sensation will be taking over the American Airlines Arena for a two-night stint on Friday, October 11, and Saturday, October 12.

No word yet on the 2013 lineup and ticket prices. But prices for last year’s New York event started at $150. And the 2012 lineup included Mr. White, Joris Voorn, 2000 and One, Nic Fanciulli, Danny Tenaglia, Mark Knight, and Fedde Le Grand — a good mix of recognizable names (remember, they’ve got an arena to fill) and more underground acts.
But no matter who is tapped for Sensation, it’s really more about the overall experience. Yes, it gets crazy with pyrotechnics, lasers, strobes, and tons of confetti.
