Six weeks ago, the Sin City’s unelected, unofficial representatives of the undead, Lil Daggers, got blitzed in Brooklyn, made friends with all the zombies there, and eventually returned home a conquering horde full of Bushwick and Williamsburg’s finest booze and brains.
The bad news: No one remembers a thing. When asked to describe those 72 hours in Brooklyn, band bro Jacob Israel could only say: “You are asking me to reach faaaarrr back into my drunked mind.” Luckily, though, there were native NYC bloggers still sober enough to capture the beer-guzzling, gray-matter-mangling madness.
It all started with Friday’s Midnight Till Death party for Mishka NYC. Then Saturday brought the Daggers to Don Pedros where they ripped into human heads with the always-vicious Wild Yaks. And lastly, there was Sunday’s show at Glasslands (FREE MUSIC!) where: “It was Estrogen Highs, Shark?, Dream Diary and this noise band called Spanish Broads that’s made up of all-stars from Brooklyn like one dude from MGMT, some dudes from Das Racist, and other famous types.”

Now, Lil Daggers bring their undead ways back to MIA for next weekend’s Churchill’s show with NoBunny, Sloppy Seconds, and the Spits. Guaranteed, it’s gonna be a very scary sequel to the Brooklyn trip … Blood and beer and blank brains.
