Great deal at The Raleigh Hotel’s Martini Bar starts this Thursday, March 11: “Seven” is what they are calling this happy hour concept, the idea being all martinis and light bites go for $7 — as does valet parking. Hours are from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week. So what does Oscar winner Sandra Bullock and Chopin Vodka have to do with this?

In honor of Frederic Chopin’s 200th Birthday, the vodka company is

launching a tour of its 200-liter hand-blown, seven-foot tall bottle.

And as The Raleigh in South Beach is one of the first stops, the hotel

Sandra Bullock autographed the bottle, as did a host of Hollywood stars

attending the Santa Barbara International Film Festival — including

Kathryn Bigelow, Jeff Bridges (must be a good luck bottle), James

Cameron (or not), Quentin Tarantino, Kirk Douglas, Maggie Gyllenhaal,

and many others. The bottle will be auctioned later this year, and is

expected to raise some $50,000 for the Grammy Foundation.

If you’ve never been to The Martini Bar, or, for that matter, to The Raleigh, this is a great chance to check it out.
