Electric Pickle has just announced that it will be closed for at least the next two weeks. The reason given in the official statement released by the venue is “to undergo official renovations for the upcoming season.”
But what about all those scheduled events? Not to worry. They will go on as planned at Villa 221. The Pickle assures the “signature musical experience will be recreated through Villa 221’s multiple rooms and creatively merged with its unique atmosphere.”
Another note: The Pickle closing for renovations won’t be one of those cases where a nightclub shutters and never returns. Our sources confirm the venue will be back.
Around the same time last year, the venue was shut down due to some code compliance issues.

Dear Friends and Patrons of The Electric Pickle:
Our venue will be temporarily closed for the coming weeks to undergo official renovations for the upcoming season. Due to the timing of legal permitting and code compliance, the length of the renovation process may take a few weeks. Until this process is complete, all programmed events will be relocated to VILLA 221 in Downtown Miami. All planned and advertised events will take place as originally scheduled, unless otherwise noted.
The Pickle’s signature musical experience will be recreated through Villa 221’s multiple rooms and creatively merged with its unique atmosphere. As all should also expect, the rooms and performance areas will be outfitted with our professional grade full-range sound systems. We look forward to welcoming our patrons and supporters to Villa 221 for these very special events.
