Black Owl Music is an independent blues label based in Miami that started in 2003. It seems to have been founded by or is at least very closely related to local bluesman Poppa E, whose show schedule reads like that of a player 40 years his junior, and whose band has a residency at Casa Panza (four-time Best of Miami winner). Check out the Black Owl Music streaming radio player, available through their KIAC internet radio page, a kind of netroots music marketing network alternative to myspace.
