During his rant against the defending champs, Wayne told fans: “The NBA banned me from all NBA events, because the Miami Heat told them to ban me.”

But that’s “not true,” said the league’s senior VP Tim Frank in an email to the Miami Herald.

Talking to MTV News, “a spokesperson … [insisted] that [Lil Wayne] wasn’t barred from attending any events during All-Star Weekend.”

And if you still aren’t convinced, senior director of basketball communications Mark Broussard just told TMZ that there’s “no truth at all” to the Young Money maniac b-ball ban.

Question #3: Is Weezy a liar? Or is the NBA making a bitch move (as rap legend and New Times columnist Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell would say) by trying to “downplay the incident”?
