When former mayoral candidate and commissioner Joe Sanchez announced this morning that his Florida Highway Patrol cruiser had been vandalized with human feces — possibly the latest salvo in a war raging between FHP and the Miami police — we were picturing a liberally placed turd or two. Maybe a flaming paper bag of poop, at worst. We were not prepared, though, for the truly gruesome photos after the jump of Sanchez’s cruiser coated in five gallons of excrement.

The FHP also released their incident report on the vandalism. Sanchez called his colleagues on the force to report the crime at 11:05 a.m. on Saturday, the report shows.

He said the car had been covered in feces sometime between 6:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. The FHP, according to the report, have “no suspects” at this time.
