H2Ombre Brave the Bar Competition: Vote for Your Favorite Cocktail

If the staggering heat of our Miami summer is getting to you and you don’t have a pool in your backyard, maybe you should consider heading to the Adrienne Arsht Center for a refreshing dip at the theater.

H2Ombre is playing at the Miami entertainment complex and it’s an interactive show that features loud music, strobe lights, fog machines, lots of people suspended in mid-air, and water. In fact, the Arsht Center asks you to wear clothes that can get wet and rubber soled-shoes for the performance — a far cry from the silk cocktail dresses and teetering heels we’re used to wearing for an evening of live theater.

All that talk of liquids gets us thinking about cocktails. So, in honor of H2Ombre, the Arsht Center has rounded up some Miami bars and restaurants for a friendly cocktail competition.

Five local restaurants have created a special H2Ombre cocktail. Just visit the participating restaurants from now through Wednesday, July 30, and try their special libation (only $5 with a ticket stub from the show, by the way).

Then, vote for your favorite drink by posting a photo of the restaurant’s cocktail on Instagram, and tagging @ArshtCenter and the restaurant’s social media handle with hashtag #BraveTheBar.

The restaurant with the most social media photos (votes) will win bragging rights for having the best cocktail, along with 25 tickets for their staff to see the show on August 6. Plus, their cocktail will be served at the special H2Ombre pop-up ice bar from August 6-30.
