Watch Adventures of Christopher Bosh in the Multiverse Online Right This Second

It’s happening again. The Miami Heat is back in the NBA playoffs. LeBron is leading in scoring. Ray Allen is putting in a decent show. Even Rihanna showed up to support the defenders.

But if you attended the Borscht Film Festival last year, you know the real hero of this story. It’s secret space prince Chris Bosh, defender of the multiverse. He battles an evil Internet queen by using the training he received from a floating wolf that possessed the body of Heat player Mike Miller.

Confused? Then you haven’t seen Adventures of Christopher Bosh in the Multiverse, the short film by Bleeding Palm that brought the crowd to cheers at the Arsht Center last year (and elicited a cease-and-desist letter from both Bosh and the NBA). But you can now.

Starting today, Borscht Corp is releasing previously unavailable films for free online. New films are due to drop every couple weeks, and Adventures is the first one. Now’s the perfect time to unleash the wacky neon masterpiece on the world. Game Two is tonight, after all.

The film’s accompanied at Borscht’s Tumblr by a series of animated GIFs from the film and a thoughtful essay written by “Minister of Jurassic Arts and point guard” Chris Quinn that gets into issues of online ethics and copyright issues without being as boring as that sounds.

“When draconian copywright laws are changed to reflect the reality of digital creation, we hope that this film, despite its interminable 11-minute running time, will serve as a representation of that specific moment in moment in history,” Quinn writes. “Or at the very least, we hope you enjoy the boob and drug jokes.”

The Borscht folks were even nice enough to make us our own GIF. May it fuel Prince Bosh’s new adventures.
