Four people are dead, including a five-year-old girl, after a fiery crash on Okeechobee Road. The incident happened at about 8:30 p.m. last night just a mile north of the Turnpike.
Police believe that the driver of the northbound car lost control and slipped into the southbound lane, according to Local 10. When the two cars collided head-on, the northbound car caught fire.
“The car was so burnt, we don’t even know what kind it is,” FHP spokesman Joe Sanchez told the Miami Herald.
In fact, officials weren’t even sure if there was a passenger or not in the car.

The area is known for drag racing. Though because there were no witnesses, FHP troopers aren’t saying drag racing was involved, but they do believe the driver of the northbound car was speeding.
Both drivers died on impact. The five-year-old girl was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
