Joe Manganiello, who stars in the male stripper flick Magic Mike, opening this weekend, is a multidimensional guy. He’s a classically trained actor, graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA before joining the cast of True Blood as werewolf Alcide. He’s also a trained boxer, directed a film about the Pittsburgh Steelers, and has provided backup vocals for the band The Used. He even once served as a bodyguard for Tyrese Gibson.
And yet, when he sat down with New Times earlier this month, all he could seem to talk about was getting naked.
So if watching a brawny, chiseled man with a Western Pennsylvania accent talk about dick size and stripper attire isn’t your thing, don’t click through to the video. Just move along. Nothing to see here. Nope. Nothing at all. Ahem.
