If you are looking to grab a pre-theater drink or a sip during intermission, the Adrienne Arsht Center is making sure you don’t have to leave the premises (sorry, DRB). After debuting Prelude by Barton G. last year, the performing arts center introduced the Bombay Sapphire Lounge Wednesday night during a private launch party. The lounge, which is a partnership between Bacardi USA and the center, is located on the ground floor of the Sears Tower (AKA the Art Deco Tower, AKA the Carnival Tower) on the west campus.

Wednesday night’s event gave a taste of what’s to come to an elite few, but the hoi polloi can take a glimpse during the lounge’s soft opening is September 12 during the Fall for the Arts Festival. It will finally be available to the public October 19. It will be open for business Tuesday through Saturdays, and Sundays when there is a performance. However, before the opening day, the lounge will be open solely on performance days, so check the performing art center’s schedule.

Oh, and we asked the stupid question so you didn’t have to: Will the lounge serve only Bombay Sapphire? According the Arsht Center’s representatives there is a full bar for the non-gin drinkers. Huzzah!

A few more preview photos after the jump.
