The Capital Grille’s Master Wine Tasting Event runs through August 23rd and offers the public the opportunity to experience new wines as selected by the Capital Grille’s Master Sommelier, one of only 170 people in the world to hold the master sommelier title, George Miliotes. For $10 at lunch or $25 at dinner, guests will be introduced to 12 wines from Spain and Argentina, or starting Monday, 11 wines from Napa Valley and South Africa.

George assured Short Order that guests will be provided with “as many portions as you want. Usually when you go in a restaurant you order something you know, this event adds value to the guest’s experience and hopefully life through wine education.”

Guest’s can expect a range of wines from the highly rated to the very affordable to the very expensive. According to Miliotes The Capital Grille is truly invested in wine education as a means of enriching their guest’s dining and living experiences. They’re also conducting a raffle that will send two pairs of winners to either wine country in Argentina or Napa Valley. All you have to do to enter is walk into a Capital Grille at any of their 38 locations in the U.S. and ask for an entry ballot. According to George, “You don’t even have to necessarily eat here to enter, but we’d love it if you did.” You can drop one ballot a day.

Raffle winners and a guest will join George on an all expense paid insider’s wine expedition tailored to their interests.”When I go to wine country it’s a totally different experience from most people. I’ve got 38 restaurants behind me, so people wanna do business. I get to see things that even people who’ve been in the wine business their whole lives don’t get to see. It’s not bad traveling to wine country with me. I’ve got a pretty cool job.”
