It’s a restaurant. It’s a nightclub. It’s a 17,000-square-foot, two-story venue featuring indoor/outdoor dining, dancing, “sushi and other specialty foods.” The lower level will house the dance and entertainment until 3 a.m. Promos boast of “an innovative light and sound system not seen before in South Florida.”
Upstairs will be an “upscale beer garden style restaurant/bar” with over fifty domestic and imported beers. Along with the suds will be sounds of “classic rock, Latin sounds, flavors, live music, DJs and dancers.”
Nothing like relaxing in a quiet beer garden I always say.
Oh, right, the restaurant: “The open style kitchen and sushi bar will serve a
mixture of foods and flavors that will satisfy all tastes at an
affordable price range.” Translation: We haven’t yet figured out what
we’re going to serve, except sushi will definitely be a part of it.
In case you aren’t yet convinced that the focus will not necessarily be
on the cuisine, “a cutting edge clothing line” will be available for
purchase on site.
Central Beer Garden is being produced by Benito Meluzio and Daniel
Salgado, creator and operator of several restaurant/night clubs in New
York, North Carolina and Palm Beach. The multi-million dollar
renovation is under way, with an opening slated for the winter of 2011
— which should give them plenty of time to get a food concept together.
