If you’re a cocktail aficionado, Blackbird Ordinary has to be one of your favorite places. The drinks are crafted with care, using premium spirits, house-made elixirs, and fresh herbs grown right on the premises.

Which is why we are pleased as punch pisco to announce that New Times is hosting a free happy hour tonight at this fabulous establishment.

Tonight, from 7 to 9 p.m., come out and enjoy free Kappa Pisco cocktails and barbecue courtesy of chef Robert Wong, who will offer burger sliders, jerk chicken wings, and tuna salad. Chef Wong is the 2010 winner of the Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival’s Publix Jerk Cook-Off. His pop-up, the Halfway Tree, can be found at Blackbird Ordinary every Tuesday and Thursday.

How do you score an invite to this fabulous (21 and older) happy hour? Just show us your smartphone or tablet with the Miami New Times Happy Hour app downloaded. It not only gets you access to this party (and others like it) but also is your key to the best happy hours throughout Miami.
