Tonight’s weather forecast pretty much explains why we live in Miami — it’s supposed to be around 62 degrees with a light breeze. That means it’s a perfect evening to head out to Coral Gables to enjoy this year’s first Giralda Under The Stars, a monthly event where streets close to traffic as local restaurants set up tables outside for dining under the stars.
Downtown Coral Gables’ Restaurant Row (located on the 100 block of Giralda Ave between Ponce de Leon Blvd and Galiano Street), will close to vehicular traffic at 6 p.m. to allow restaurants to set up. Giralda Under the Stars officially runs from 7 p.m. until midnight, although many restaurants and bars expect to stay busy until around 2 a.m.
Some restaurants will provide live music, including The Bar, which will have a band. They’ll also have a bar set up outside, serving beer on tap.
RDZ Fine Art Gallery (147 Giralda Avenue) will be open for art viewing and light refreshments, as will some of the shops and boutiques that line the street.
