Miami’s The Cereal Bowl took a college student’s observation that people love customizing their cereal experience and made a global corporation out of it.
The company just inked a deal with Global Brands, a Qatar based company, to expand to the Middle East.
The Cereal Bowl leveraged the success of its flagship store at 1560 South Dixie HWY into a franchise operation with one store in Delaware and openings pending in Washington DC, Alabama, and New Jersey. According to a press release, The Cereal Bowl plans to open 15 new units in the states over the next 24 – 36 months.
Global Brands is the company responsible for bringing Ruby Tuesday’s to Qatar. Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Thani, President & CEO of Global Brands says “We are totally confident that Global Brands will be able to re-create the ‘The Cereal Bowl experience’ throughout Qatar and the Middle East.”
