There’s a new big, bad lounge popping-up with the addition of Mister Wolfe to the South Beach scene.
The lounge, housed in the former Bond Street space at the Townhouse Hotel, fuses bar, lounge, and small plates restaurant together in a sleek, sexy environment filled with multiple spaces to cuddle up with a drink and a squeeze.
Partners Max Pierre; Erik Yehezkel; and AE Collective have enlisted the expertise of Nuno Grillon, owner of Ironside Cafe, to create a small bites menu that features sophisticated takes on favorites like skewers and sliders.
Menu items include local fresh mozzarella with sun dried tomato jam and micro basil on crostini ($11); wild crab and avocado mousse served on tostones ($14); spicy yellowfin tuna tartare with red onions, capers, and fresh parsley on crostini ($15); smoked salmon mousse, served in mini-crepes ($15); grass-fed beef mini burgers (three for $15); shitake mushroom mini burgers (three for $15); and skewers (beef, chicken, or shrimp; three for $15-16).

Head bartender Peter Edan has curated a selection of wines and champagnes — many from small quantity boutique producers, and has created a cocktail menu that features signature creations like the Townhouse Secret ($13), which brings together the sweet/tart tastes of fresh lemonade and raspberries, the beautiful floral notes of gin, and tops it with champagne and a powdered sugar raspberry; and the Wolf Bite ($13) with aged rum, fresh mango, passion fruit, and jlapeno.
Mister Wolfe is open Monday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.; Friday and Saturday 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., and Sunday 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. The kitchen serves until 1 a.m. daily. So far, there’s no set date when Mister Wolfe will “pop” off the radar, but should be open through the summer months.
