There’s no doubt the biggest beer trend in Miami is homebrew. Everywhere you look — from clubs such as Misfit Home Brewers to individuals brewing batches in their kitchens — the make-your-own beer craze is here in full force. And why not?

Beginning homebrewers simply need a kitchen, a small storage area, and about $50 in supplies. There are even homebrewing classes at FIU’s Chaplin School to show you the basics.
