The Alibi
7357 Miami Lakes Drive, Miami Lakes

If everyone went to happy hour in downtown, the beach, or the Gables, there wouldn’t be such absurd amounts of traffic every afternoon. For this reason, it was the Happy Hour Hunt‘s mission to find a non-chain happy hour in the Miami Lakes/Hialeah area; and so we present The Alibi.
Hidden in the corner slot of a shopping center, The Alibi calls itself as an “escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.” Walking into the Alibi is like walking into a piano bar in the basement of a Chicago lounge but dotted with Latin-fusion twists. The L-shaped bar is made of dark wood, the walls are a deep red & off set by colorful art, and a small dance floor divides the bar from the dining area. The lighting is dim enough to make anyone forget what time of day (or night) it may be.
