Twitter, the microblogging site that serves both as a communication tool and a way for drunk celebrities to implode, is as important a function on our phones as the ability to dial a number to most of us.

After showing your love to Twitter, it now wants to reciprocate by buying you a round of drinks at the Broken Shaker.

On Thursday, July 3 from 8 to 11 p.m., the Broken Shaker hosts the Mandarine Napoleon emperor’s social bar, where your money is no good. Just hold your horses, Josephine, as the 19th century’s emperor would say. The drinks aren’t exactly free.

The cost for a well crafted cocktail? Your tweets and instagrams. For each new and unique Instagram post or tweet, you’ll receive a token exchangeable for a Mandarine Napoleon cocktail.

Just take a photo at the social bar (aka Broken Shaker), then post to @FollowNapoleon @FreehandMiami, using hashtag #EmperorsBar. Show the post to anyone from the Mandarine Napoleon army and receive a cocktail created by the mixology masters at Broken Shaker, like the Emperor’s Julep. Not a bad way to start the three day weekend.

To whet your appetite, here’s a recipe for the special julep, courtesy of the Shaker’s Gabe Orta:
