What are we calling that period between March 22 and 28? Ultra Week? Miami Electronic Music Week? We need to come to a consensus so we don’t get too confused.
Just the other day, Crossfade announced Swedish House Mafia’s party happening opposite Ultra, and now British trance trio, Above & Beyond, has scheduled its Anjunabeats party Thursday, March 24 at Ice Palace.
According to the press release, the party will consist of two rooms and mark the group’s biggest party in Miami to date. Last March, Anjunabeats took place in Ice Palace West (AKA Karu & Y), but the upcoming edition will be moving into the more spacious east wing of the complex.
Ajunabeats is part of the Made Event series that has typically happened during Winter Music Conference. In years past, WMC parties usually run from Tuesday night until Monday morning. But we’ve been holding our breath trying to figure out if that would be the case with Ultra anchoring the end of March.

Your support strengthens our coverage.
We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If Miami New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
In addition to the Above & Beyond bash, Made is also responsible for Sunday School for Degenerates, which sources have told us will happen Sunday, March 27 at Ice Palace. However, we haven’t received any official confirmation. So we’ll just have to wait a little longer and see how the whole drama plays out.
Tickets are now on sale for the trance-tastic Anjunabeats festivities. Early bird tickets are available for $30. But the price will increase to $40 after those sell out.
