We love a good contest, especially when the grand prize is a chance to play for thousands at an enormous electronic music festival. And that’s exactly what Afrobeta, their label Do IT Music Group, and Ultra Music Festival are offering every wannabe DJ-producer.

The deal? You gotta take a stab at remixing the duo’s track, “Play House.” The rules and sample packs are all available at FOEM, and the remix can be anything from dubstep to minimal to nu-disco.

Have fun, you lucky bastards.

The winner will earn a time slot at Ultra 2011, at least one promised released via Do IT, and a few other goodies.

$30,000

Also, since the contest mentions it, here’s the two-parter interview we did with Cuci and Tony back in October — in case you need a refresher.

P.S. Afrobeta, we’re still waiting on that Fro Rojas-directed “Play House” video. What’s taking so long?
