Miami’s live music scene is on the up-and-come. And in particular, one Midtown lounge is really stepping it up by bringing some of the most diverse acts in indie pop, hip-hop, and chillwave to the 305.
Bardot recently announced the Thursday Living Room Sessions, a weekly series of intimate shows featuring nationally recognized artists ranging from Cam’ron to Neon Indian, Slick Rick to Junior Boys.
Earlier this year, Junior Boys dropped It’s All True, the fourth studio album in a career that spans over a decade. Sprinkled with elements of New Wave, R&B, and soul, the record’s been a critical success, earning a respectable 7.8 on Pitchfork, and four stars from the UK’s Guardian.
And as Crossfade reported in July, the Canadian electro-poppers will pop the Living Room Sessions’ cherry with their groovy, synthesized indie sound on October 6.
