Another big show announcement: Vocoder-obsessed duo Chromeo announced they’ll be performing at the Fillmore Miami Beach on September 20 as part of the LG Ones to Watch Tour.
Oddly enough, they’ve been “ones to watch” basically since their first release, 2004’s She’s In Control. Their latest album, Business Casual, featured club hits like “Night by Night” and “Hot Mess,” both which don’t veer far from the ’80s snyth-heavy, New Wave formula that’s made them famous.
Anyway, the Fillmore show will be the band’s first non-Winter Music Conference appearance in Miami since their performance at The Fifth (now Club Play) back in April 2008.
Tickets are scheduled to go on sale Friday, July 8 for $39.50.
