Last time Milwaukee hipster hop MC Juiceboxxx performed in Miami, he got everybody sweating at Poplife. This time he returns to the city in the midst of Winter Music Conference along with Puppy Hearts.
The 23-year-old is on the road in support of his debut mixtape, Thunder Zone Volume One, which is available for free via his website. The mix features cameos by Spank Rock and Ninjasonik, and includes reworkings of old favorites like “Center Stage,” “Thunder Jam #5,” and “Sweat,” along with newer releases like “100 MPH.”
Also on the bill for the show is local band Electric Bunnies. Tickets are $5, presumably at the door since this is a low-budget affair. Where is all the mayhem taking place? At the Guest Lab (163 NE 73rd Street, Miami), which is located in what’s unofficially known as the Railroad Arts District.
