“Radically different from what’s happening on the beach.”
That’s the ballsy tagline for the inaugural, newly announced Look Alive Fest. And we here at Crossfade can only respond, “Whoa! Yeah! No shit!”
Curatorially slammed together by Miami’s Spilt Milk Projects, Brooklyn’s Ad Hoc, and Wynwood’s Gramps, these “two nights of underground music and art,” headlined by beasty Detroit noise-rock band Wolf Eyes and Houston psych crew Indian Jewelry, will be going down on December 6 and 7 at Churchill’s Pub and Gramps.
The fest will also feature another ten other crews, including South Florida’s own Teepee, Cop City/Chill Pillars, Lil Daggers, and Nerve City. So again, we gotta say, “Whoa! Yeah! No shit!”
