Over the last few years, Peaches has spoiled South Florida with a performance during Art Basel Miami Beach’s Art Loves Music in 2006, an unforgettable WMC performance at Mansion in 2007, a packed show at Revolution Live in 2009, and the technologically amazing theatrics of her Bally Love performance at the Moore Building in 2010.

So when she returns to Miami on September 17 for a DJ set at Grand Central, we expect the fatherfucker to be in full-form. It’s also being described as a “live MC” set by the venue’s press release, so there may be some dirty talk too.

Then again, maybe it’s only a DJ set. But we’ve learned to never underestimate Merrill Nisker. Her Bally Love show featured the smallest stage we’ve ever seen her perform on. And still, it had everything — light-up keytars, lasers, and naked trannies.

$30,000

We can’t say we are entirely surprised that this appearance won’t be a live performance. She isn’t on tour and hasn’t released new material since 2009’s I Feel Cream.

In any case, Peaches should feel rather comfortable behind the decks, since she’s DJed before. And while understand being skeptical of electronic acts with weak turntable skills (see Nancy Whang), we’re confident in Peaches’ ability.

Tickets aren’t on sale yet. But they’ll be available for $20 via fla.vor.us soon, we are told.
