Inside a New York state civil courtroom, a musical tale of “irreparable harm” continues to unfold as Lindsay Lohan refuses to drop a seemingly bogus lawsuit against Pitbull, Nee-Yo, and Afrojack, the result of her “Give Me Everything” overreaction.
In LiLo’s eyes, “Hustlers move aside, so I’m tiptoein’, to keep flowin’/I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan” are “disparaging or defamatory” lyrics.
In Ryan Seacrest’s case, however, “My family is from Cuba, but I’m an American Idol/Gettin’ money like Seacrest,” is fair game. In fact, Seacrest is Pitbull’s latest defense tactic.

TMZ is reporting that Pitbull’s defense team filed legal documents last week, “invoking the little known ‘Seacrest Defense’ in his legal battle with Lindsay Lohan.”
Pit’s argument states that if Seacrest didn’t sue, Lohan shouldn’t have either. The court filings also note that Pitbull performed “Give Me Everything” on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, proving that unlike Lohan, Seacrest supports (a) and the First Amendment and (b) has a sense of humor.
The “Seacrest Defense” is the latest attempt by Pitbull’s lawyers to call Lohan out on her bullshit. In November, the team filed a notice of removal “in an effort to shift the case from county to federal court.”
Citing ABC News and TMZ, Pit’s lawyers argued that Lohan had “falsely attested” her New York residency, highlighting her “frequent legal troubles” as proof that the actress has “irrevocable ties to California.”
Clearly, you shouldn’t piss Pitbull off.
