We sent out a million invites to come party with Crossfade last night. (OK, as accounted by Facebook, the actual number was 1223.) And 124 of you said, “No,” about 60 answered, “Eh, maybe,” and a whopping 938 didn’t even acknowledge the question! What the fuck’s wrong? Don’t you like free fun? Are you allergic to alcohol, noise, and sweet leaf smoke?
In the end, about 100 of our closest friends, enemies, and ex-lovers showed up ready to lose their shit. And as promised, Furious Dudes went full freak, Bulletproof Tiger tore off our faces, and Secret Arms slashed into our skulls. Other signs of total success: A pile of PBR was pounded, a sticky cigarette was passed around the front row, and no one puked.
All in all, it was a respectably rowdy midweek rager. So see the cut for ten sweaty photos from the launch of Crossfade and the Stage’s new music series. And come to our next one on July 28. We don’t wanna hear “No,” “Eh, maybe,” or total silence. We just wanna party!
