​Celebrating birthdays with live music is just the friendly thing to do.

Last night, a few bands joined forces for a house-party-slash-mini-concert in honor of their friend and housemate. It took place at La Cueva, all-girl band Snakehole’s practice space, conveniently located above a Calle Ocho institution, El Gato Tuerto Liquor Store.

Some back and forth to the Gato kept the crowd loose and smiling while packed into a tight little living room area. This Heart Electric’s Ricardo Guerrero’s show was intense and physical, short and sweet. And Snakehole brought it with some heavy-sounding garage with lyrics about dicks.
