Anthony Cesario, a former player for the Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars, has died at the young age of 34 after suffering what appears to be a heart attack. Cesario died Saturday in Saratoga Springs, Colorado, while the former offensive guard was hosting a hunting party.
“It’s ironic he died of a heart attack. He had the biggest heart of anyone I ever knew,” his former NFL agent Pete Schaffer told The Denver Post
Cesario had heart issues for some time, and recently had a pacemaker installed and had slimmed down from his 310 lbs playing weight.
Cesario played college ball at Colorado State where he was a three-year starter and an All-American. He was drafted by the Jaguars in the third round in the ’99 draft.
