Dianelis de la Caridad-Fonseca, a 22-year-old Hialeah woman, and, Jose Martin Perez-Sanchez, a 21-year-old hitman, have been arrested for the murder of teacher, Richard Vasallo. Vasallo was found dead in the street just blocks away from his Cutler Bay home.
Vasallo was Caridad-Fonseca’s ex-boyfriend. She’s allegedly admitted to cops that she paid Perez-Sanchez $600 to commit the murder. She also promised to marry Perez-Sanchez, an immigrant, so he could become a citizen.
Vasello, 25, was spotted Thursday night walking along SW 216th Street and 98th Court. A 911 caller told authorities he was “very bloody.” Police eventually found Vasello’s dead body lying in a road about three blocks from his home. His car was parked a short distance away.
Vasello taught engineering at SIA Tech, and was a 2009 graduate of Florida International University.

Caridad-Fonseca and Perez-Sanchez were both arrested this morning and confessed to the crime. She offered to pay Perez-Sanchez $600 and promised to marry him. The two planned the crime, and Caridad-Fonseca lured the victim out to the murder scene — a desolate area near his house. Perez-Sanchez then attacked him.
According to CBS Miami, a knife, possibly the murder weapon, has been recovered. Vasello died of sharp force trauma.
