Watch out for Freddy Krueger! He’ll kill you in your dreams! Or, apparently, rob your grocery store. Police are on the lookout for a man in a Freddy Krueger Halloween mask who pulled off an armed robbery at a Food Giant grocery store this past weekend.
Cops say the robber, clad in a Krueger mask, walked into the Food Giant store on the Kennedy Causeway at Adventure Avenue in North Bay Village sometime Sunday. But instead of sporting a knife-studded glove, he wielded a gun and forced a cashier to empty the register.
The Krueger impersonator then made off in an unknown direction.
