If you lose your wallet in Miami, it’s not uncommon never to get it back, and if you do, there might be a little something missing. Some people are not above taking a finder’s fee. However, not everyone is terrible.

A young fan who lost his wallet at Marlins Park opening day not only had it returned but also found a new $20 inside along with a note asking him to pay the random act of kindness forward.

According to WSVN, the owner of the wallet is Cristhian Reyes, a senior at Miami Senior High School. He lost the wallet during the Marlins’ first game, against the Colorado Rockies, and half-expected never to see it again.

Well, a Good Samaritan found it. School staffers say an unidentified man walked into the front office and said one of their students might have lost the billfold and he wanted to make sure the boy got it back.

Inside was note that read:

“Looked at the letter, I was in awe of the letter with the wallet, and I said, ‘No, no, no, we need to do something with it,'” Miami Senior High Vice Principal Felix Zabala told the staff, “so I decided I’m gonna take a picture. So I took a picture of the letter and the wallet, and I emailed it to the entire staff.”

Reyes says he’s still in awe that his wallet was returned and is thinking about how to pay the good deed forward.
