We can all agree that the internet never has enough pictures of dogs, so thankfully the Miami-Dade County Commission is looking to do something about that. No, they are not starting a cute dog blog. Instead they are considering implementing an online directory of dangerous dogs.

Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz’s proposal would require that all dogs deemed dangerous pose for a mugshot, according to The Miami Herald. The photo would be uploaded online along with a short biography and the owner’s address. The fines for people whose dogs injure, kill other animals, or are trained to fight would be doubled to $1,000. People who abuse animals would also be fined $1,000. Repeat offenders could be fined as much as $2,000 or more.
Dogs are considered dangerous in Miami-Dade County if they attack another animals or human without provocation and causes serious harms. Dogs that approach people “menacingly” are also considered dangerous.
