Miami Palantir Protest: When, Where, What to Know

Before relocating to Aventura, Palantir dealt with constant protests outside its Denver offices over its work with ICE.
Protesters hold up a canvas sign in front of two people and that says says "Up with Palestine down with Palantir! You are not welcome here. There is a line of blood splatter under Palantir. There is also a drawing of the outline of Israel with a palestine flag drawn vertically over the outline. There is a fist at the bottom right corner.
Over the past year, demonstrators staged several protests outside Palantir's headquarters in Denver.

The protests are evidently following controversial software company Palantir Technologies’ move from Denver to Miami.

On February 17, Palantir, the developer of surveillance and data integration tools used by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to track undocumented immigrants, announced that it had moved its headquarters to Miami, with little explanation. Filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reveal that the company’s new headquarters is inside the Industrious co-working space next to Aventura Mall in The Abbey complex.

Protesters plan to demonstrate against Palantir on Tuesday, March 3, at the company’s new headquarters.

While billionaires and their firms have relocated to South Florida, apparently thanks to the Sunshine State’s friendlier business environment, the company’s annual reports revealed that it was also concerned about the ongoing protests outside its Denver offices. The protests, which date back to 2020, when the company moved from Silicon Valley to Denver, have centered on the company’s contracts with the federal government and the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). Just last week, the Department of Homeland Security agreed to a $1 billion purchase agreement with Palantir.

“Activists have also engaged, and may continue to engage, in public protests at our properties and other locations,” Palantir’s 2025 annual report reads. “Actions we may take in response to media coverage, activism, investigations, inquiries, litigation, or to protect from security risks, may divert resources and our management’s attention, increase certain operating and other expenses, and further affect our public perception.”

Following Palantir’s announcement, immigration activists, including Thomas Kennedy, sounded the alarm about the company’s relocation to South Florida.

“Palantir was awarded a $30 million contract to develop Immigration OS, used for surveillance and detention by ICE,” Kennedy wrote on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. “Stephen Miller is heavily invested in the company.”

Now, various groups will protest near Palantir’s new headquarters in Aventura on Tuesday, March 3.
