Yesterday afternoon, students from South Miami High School were making their way home on the school bus when a motorcyclist slammed into the back of the bus. The incident occurred near Southwest Second Terrace and 57th Avenue.
The driver, believed to be in his 20s, instantly died on collision. No students were hurt, however the accident caused major traffic delays.
“We just heard a loud bang and it moved, the bus moved,” a student told WSVN. [JustNews | WSVN]
- The family of the little boy who was burned by scalding water and not taken in for medical care appeared in court. His teenage mother said she was afraid to take him to the hospital because she didn’t want to lose custody for a second time. Her boyfriend, who was also arrested, has an arrest record and is facing an unrelated manslaughter case. [CBS4]
