Police are searching for suspects in two separate firearm attacks that occurred overnight in North Miami-Dade. One was fatal; the other victim is not expected to survive. A 25-year-old man was found shot to death near his black SUV near Barry University in Miami Shores. In the other shooting, a woman was hit while sitting inside her car in Miami Gardens.
>The first incident occurred outside a home at 356 NE 111th St., near Barry. Police were called around 4:50 a.m. They found a 25-year-old man dead next to his black SUV. A neighbor reported hearing three gunshots and then discovering the victim bleeding from his mouth. Police are searching for clues to identify the killer and the motive.
The second shooting happened in Miami Gardens near NW 42nd Avenue and 208th Street.
“At first, I didn’t come outside. In this neighborhood, you always hear shots. It’s usually just someone shooting in the air, but once we saw the cops closing down the area, we knew it was serious,” a witness ;a href=”http://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local-beat/Woman-Gunned-Down-in-Miami-Gardens-105853138.html” target=”_blank”>told NBCMiami.
