The roads of Miami-Dade are an asphalt hell full of asshole drivers. It’s simply a fact, and sometimes someone might cut us off. Sometimes such an incident might even devolve into a roadside confrontation, but it really& is not a good idea to bring guns into the equation.

A man has been hospitalized at Jackson Memorial Hospital after a shooting stemming from road rage this afternoon.

Police say the driver of a Nissan Versa cut off a U-Haul truck sometime around 1 p.m. in Miami Gardens near the area of NW 163rd Street and 57th Avenue.

Somehow both cars ended up on the side of the road, and the incident turned into a heated argument. There were four people in the Versa and two in the U-Haul.

One of the men from the U-Haul pulled out a gun and shot at the Nissan, hitting the car’s driver in the back.

Police have taken three people into custody, including the two occupants of the U-Haul. The victim’s condition is unknown, and no charges have been announced.
