Terrence Dwayne Mingo Jr. is behind bars today after allegedly robbing and raping two teenage girls at gunpoint in the streets of Overtown early Sunday morning. The 25-year-old faces two counts of armed sexual battery and two counts of armed robbery.
According to NBC Miami, the incident occurred on Northwest 1st Court between Northwest 14th and 15th Streets.
The 17- and 19-year-old victims were walking together at around 12:40 a.m. when they were approached by Mingo. He had a handgun and forced the girls to hand over their belonging. He then forced them to sit on the ground. The girls complied while begging not to be hurt.
Mingo then sexually assaulted both women before taking off with their belongings.

Police were able to track Mingo down from a finger print he left behind. He was booked into jail yesterday afternoon.
He is being held without bond after appearing in court today.
