Thieves in Miami tied up a 95-year-old woman along with two other women while brandishing a gun and ransacked a home this afternoon. The women weren’t hurt, but the desperate thieves who apparently couldn’t find any babies with candy to steal from or fish in barrels to shoot, made away with valuables.

NBC Miami reports that 61-year-old Daisy Martinez, an in-home nurse, arrived at a home on 3323 NW 25th St. this afternoon to tend to two patients. That’s when three men wearing ski masks surrounded her and forced her inside.

Once inside, one of the thieves pulled out a gun and then forced 95-year-old Maria Lopez to the floor. The thieves then tied up Lopez, Martinez, and 53-year-old Sonya Castro, the other patient, while they searched the home for valuables.

They collected cash and jewelry before making off on foot. None of the victims were hurt, but they couldn’t give good description of the bandits.
