Residents of the Opera Tower, a 55-story bayfront condo, awoke Sunday morning to a scene straight out of Scarface: Blood pooled in an elevator and splattered around a lobby, three men seriously wounded, and police swarming a crime scene that stretched 30 floors.
This morning, police are still searching for a motive and a gunman as the three victims recover at Jackson Memorial.
The shooting began around 10:30 a.m. Sunday, rocking the building’s lobby with multiple blasts.
Two victims were found bleeding in the lobby, while a third, looking for help, knocked on a door on the 30th floor, the Miami Herald reports.

All three victims, described by police as adult black men, were taken to Jackson, where two were in stable condition and one was in serious condition and undergoing surgery last night.
Police continue to look for leads this morning, Det. Willie Moreno, a Miami Police Department spokesman, tells Riptide. Moreno declined to name the victims.
