There’s no such thing as too much precaution following last week’s shooting in Connecticut.
Two Miami-Dade schools were placed on lockdown today after a shooting occurred nearby.
Both incidents occurred after a man was shot in nearby Coconut Grove at about 2:30 p.m.
The incident happened as nearby Frances S. Tucker Elementary School was being let out, and students, staff, and parents were put on alert.
