Last time we checked in with Chad Johnson, he was hanging out with a homeless guy in South Beach. Next time we check in he could be hanging out with prisoners behind bars. The Broward Sheriff’s Office has issued a warrant for Johnson’s arrest stemming from a possible violation of his probation.
According to CBS Sports, the warrant was issued on May 7 after Johnson missed a meeting with his probation officer.
Johnson is, of course, on probation after headbutting his now-ex-wife Evelyn Lozada during a domestic violence row. He managed to escape jail time then, but once Johnson is apprehended or turns himself in, a trial will be set to determine if he violated his probation. It could lead to possible jail time.
According to Johnson’s Twitter account (which we all know may not be the most reliable source for accurate information) he appears to be in Pasadena at the moment.
